SPFDJ & VICTORIA

SPFDJ

Not many DJs can claim to experience as meteoric, grassroots ascent as SPFDJ. Having established a remarkable energy, style and attitude on the underground techno circuits of both the London and Berlin circuits, she is known for inspiring debauchery and sweat-soaked hedonism on an international scale. Typically operating at a blisteringly high-tempo, an SPFDJ trip takes no prisoners in it’s exploration of strains of techno, acid, EBM, hardcore and trance. It’s a style that Ben UFO called “utterly ruthless”, and one that more and more clubbers are submitting to; a gleefully chaotic two-fingers to dance music’s self-serious establishment. In 2018, SPFDJ was inducted into the crew of residents at Herrensauna, the notorious monthly rave that has empowered and transformed Berlin’s queer scene in the past few years. Sharing a lineup with residents, this fertile and (not quite) fucks-free environment has seen SPFDJ’s sets become increasingly dynamic and uncompromisingly distinctive, a key tool in tipping the basement of Tresor over into trademark madness, as captured in an inspiring, increasingly iconic Boiler Room performance.

VICTORIA

Bass queen, It girl, sex symbol— Victoria’s pulsating energy is set to engulf you and entice you into joining her saucy, cheeky, y2k techno cult. Victoria’s witty persona has always yearned to embody a sense of freedom and fluidity, a desire that emerged at a young age. Skating, playing rock riffs on her bass, and indulging in every party experience became the building blocks of her early years. Music served as her excuse to skip school, leading her to form several bands in her youth. As rebellion never fades, these youthful indiscretions swiftly transformed into her profession and life’s journey as a full-time musician. Transitioning from the realm of live rock music to the techno scenes of Milan and Berlin, Victoria discovered an inherent connection between the groove of her bass and the kick drums of the clubs. Her main influences trace back to the ‘90s, journeying through bouncy techno to culminate in baile funk. She blends these influences with the sassiness and aesthetic of the early 2000s, creating a fusion that translates into a sweaty and hyper-energetic clubbing experience.
